about

Ruby Jenni, now 22, is a dancer, choreographer, writer, and performer who grew up in Missoula, MT, training in various artistic movement styles.

Starting at the age of ten, she has traveled and lived internationally, joyfully participating as a student, performer, teacher and collaborator in artistic cultural events across much of Europe, as well as China, Russia, Pakistan, the U.S., and the UAE. After high school, Ruby continued her training in a pre-professional program, training in contemporary and Cuban ballet at a dance school in Barcelona, Spain.

Since graduating the program, Ruby has been a company member with Ballet Beyond Borders as a dancer and choreographer since its formation in February, 2025. The BBB organization is on a mission to promote cooperation and ease conflict by creating mutual understanding and using dance to advocate for human rights, justice, and global peace.

Ruby is a passionate storyteller and performer and is compelled to create in the name of connection. Winning multiple awards as a competitor in classical and contemporary categories, Ruby is most proud of her works as a young choreographer that have gained attention in international dance competitions and on world stages. She currently speaks three languages and is an enthusiastic learner of dance, language, history, and art.

Through in-studio, onstage, and online mediums Ruby is seeking to explore the relationship between audience, performer and creator in a mission to generate empathy, curiosity, discovery, and mutual awe.
